The Organic Chemistry Tutor - Gas Stochiometry
The Organic Chemistry Tutor - Gas StochiometryThe Organic Chemistry Tutor Gas Stochiometry was taught by John R. Leopold to Johnathon Willis in the second century B.C. Johnathon later became a world-renowned chemist. This online tutor has been designed for those who are serious about learning the practical aspects of this great subject. The problem of stoichiometry can be traced back to Ancient Egypt. Even before the discovery of alchemy, people were familiar with the concept of the element. The Greek philosopher Aristotle thought that two substances were similar because they were found in similar positions. This natural tendency to relate similar substances resulted in their use as indicators of their chemical properties.Stochiometry is one of the basic concepts of this subject and is used throughout the subjects of science. A substance's volume is determined by the number of molecules that it contains. The result is the fractional volume or volumetric formula. The search for a better understanding of gas stoichiometry led Charles Fort, an eminent chemist to write his work 'Gases and Solids' in 1801. During his life, he published hundreds of books on this subject. These include 'Plate-Density of Solids and Gases'On the Diffusion of Mixture.'Here Fort explains the relationship between the ratio of volume to density and finds a relationship between the surface area of the earth's core and the solid, liquid and gas masses. The relation shows that the density of gases is correlated to the density of solid material. The core is a point of focus here, as it is the core of our planet. The element's molecular weight is closely related to the density of a material. This means that the amount of the element in a solid or gas will determine its density. This mathematical relationship was also used by the Roman scientist Vitruvius when he designed the public baths for Rome. The density of a solid substance is directly proportional to the volume of the solid. In addition, the denser a solid is, the higher it tends to weigh. By knowing the density of a substance, one can find its density. This is why the Organic Chemistry Tutor uses this equation. The Organic Chemistry Tutor Gas Stochiometry uses the properties of gases to solve the problem of stoichiometry. It is one of the oldest methods of solving for volume and density of a solid or a gas.

10 Best Study Snacks to Eat While Reviewing Class Notes
10 Best Study Snacks to Eat While Reviewing Class Notes via Pixabay.com 1. Apple slices with peanut butter. Personally, this is one of my favorite go-to snacks. I keep apples and my favorite peanut butter on hand at all times to make sure I have it when Im in the mood for something acidic and smooth. Apples are delicious, but when you eat them plain, they can get old after a few bites. Coupling them with peanut butter is the perfect addition! **If you dont like apples, add peanut butter to another fruit like bananas! Its easy to use a knife to slide a scoop of peanut butter onto your next bite before it enters the chompers. 2. Cheese stick. Some people tear it into strings, some people eat it like a banana, regardless of how you enjoy your cheese, itll fill your hungry tummy while youre studying. Youll want to make sure you dont eat an entire bag of cheese sticks maybe limit yourself to one or two. If youre still hungry after that, you should supplement your snack with another food group. 3. Oatmeal. You cant go wrong with this timeless classic. Oatmeal comes in various flavors, and you can always add in what youre graving raisins, honey, brown sugar, etc. This study snack is one you absolutely cannot go wrong with having! A splash of milk and a quick turn in the microwave will put it at the perfect consistency and temperature for a quick snack! ** If youre looking to shop snacks on a budget, oatmeal will absolutely do the trick. 4. Eggs scrambled, hardboiled, or sunny side up. Eggs are cheap and quick to fix. If you need something to sustain you through a few more chapters this will do it! 5. Yogurt and granola. Heres a good way to spice up your yogurt add granola to give the smoothness some crunch and extra flavor. I love adding honey, raisins, and granola to my cup of yogurt. However, if you let the granola soak in the yogurt too long itll be soggy! If youre trying to stay healthy this is a great snack. via Pixabay.com 6. Instead of candy, try dark chocolate. Dark chocolate has more antioxidants than milk chocolate, and, in small doses, its actually kind of good for you! If you need just a little something to give you a kick-start while studying, grab a square of dark chocolate and enjoy! 7. Larabars. These awesome granola bars will really fill you up while youre studying. Theyll not only tie you over to the next subject you might be able to make it to the next meal! They come in all kinds of flavors. However, theyre a bit on the pricey side, so be prepared to whip out your credit card. 8. Instead of soda, try hot tea. You can get tea in a variety of flavors. You might like green tea or fruity teas, or maybe youre into something thatll calm your nerves, like chamomile. If you think its too bland, one packet of sugar never hurt anyone. 9. Instead of ice cream, try frozen yogurt. It might not be the perfect replication of ice cream, and its definitely not super healthy, but its much better than diving into your favorite carton while studying Anatomy and Physiology. 10. Instead of the late night drive thru, make yourself a baked potato. Sure, you can put some butter and cheese on your potato to make it taste a little better. But in the middle of your late-night study session, when you cave and go through a drive-thru, youre allowing yourself to take six steps back on the healthy train and youll probably make yourself feel like crap. Instead, heat up a baked potato in the microwave and devour it skin and all. I promise youll have a full tummy after that! Study snacks are handy and should be kept within reach of your favorite study spot. Whether its apples or just spoonfuls of peanut butter, whatever you choose to hold you over until your grumbling tummy quits, youll be glad you dont have to interrupt and ruin your rhythm. These ten study snack ideas will help you achieve optimal academic results!
Epic Fail to Fluent 5 Ways Funny Language Mistakes Can Help You Learn
Epic Fail to Fluent 5 Ways Funny Language Mistakes Can Help You Learn 5 Ways Your Funny Language Mistakes Can Help You Learn Oh no, theyre laughing at you!Having your friends laugh at your mistakes when youâre learning a new language may feel like the end of the world. But your mistakes could actually give you a huge learning advantage thatâll shock your friends like deer in headlights!Did you know getting laughed at can help you learn a new language? If you want to have fun with your language mistakes and use them to help you learn your target language faster, stay tuned.Iâve got some funny and embarrassing stories thatâll change the way you think about learning a new language.Ill also show you how to transform your own language mistakes into gems that you can laugh about and learn from. How My Epic Fail Moments Taught Me SpanishGoogle Translate Can Make Things Awkward QuicklyWhen I was living in Spain earlier this year doing humanitarian work with refugees, I thought I would say something funny in Spanish to my friend Maria.Since I watched The Power Rangers when I was a kid, I decided to ask her in Spanish if she likes that show. So, with the help of Google Translate, I said to Maria, âTe gustan los guardabosques?âNo sé (I donât know) she awkwardly replied. After the other refugees heard what I said in Spanish, they started laughing uncontrollably!I was confused by Mariaâs response, so I double-checked the meaning of what Id just said. I found out that âTe gustan los guardabosquesâ means, âDo you like forest rangers?âFrom that day forward, Iâve learned to never rely blindly on Google Translate!Winging It Wont Always WorkOne day while I was taking a Spanish class at a community college, my teacher asked me to stand up and share a sentence I learned in Spanish with the entire class. I quickly stood up and said, Mis abuelos son muy simpáticos, pero no son bonitos. (My grandparents are very nice, but theyâre not pretty.)After I said that, the entire class, along with my teacher, started laughing nonstop, but I had no idea why they were laughing so hard.Sho rtly afterward, my teacher smiled while trying not to laugh and said, âErnesto, good job, but thatâs not very nice.â I realized that I hadnt really thought about what I was saying until after I said itâ"I was just focused on completing the assignment. When everyone started laughing, I then realized what a terrible thing Id just said. One big thing I learned that day was to not practice my Spanish with my grandparents until I learn how to think before I speak!Learning a Variety of Foreign Phrases Is a Good IdeaAnother time while I was living in Spain with the humanitarian workers and the refugees, the hot water stopped working and we all decided to have a meeting to figure out what we should do. At that time, one of my favorite phrases in Spanish whenever I thought something was odd was, esto es muy extraño (this is very strange).Iâd become so comfortable with this phrase that I pretty much started using it for everything. So once everyone started discussing the issue with th e hot water not working, I said, Hmm, esto es muy extraño. (Hmm, this is very strange.) Almost immediately, everyone busted out in uncontrollable laughter!I didnât really understand what Id said wrong, so I asked one of the humanitarian workers. She told me that I didnât say anything wrong, but it just sounded funny that Iâm so simple-minded in terms of choosing that specific Spanish phrase over and over again. For this reason, itâs important to learn a variety of phrases in a foreign language so that you can have a normal conversation with people. If you say, âthis is very strangeâ for everything that seems a little odd, people will start to think that youâre very strange. Why Making Language Mistakes Can Work in Your FavorOne advantage to making mistakes when youâre learning a new language is that itâll help you to discover your weak spots. Knowing your weak spots, as long as youâre open to learning, will help you to focus on the specific areas you need to impro ve.As Iâve already mentioned briefly by sharing my own language learning mistakes, another way making mistakes can work in your favor is that youâll learn new vocabulary. While itâs really embarrassing to make mistakes and you probably donât want anybody to laugh at you, learning what words or phrases to not say will give you a better idea of what you need to say next time. When Thomas Edison was asked how it felt to fail 1,000 times, he said, âI didnât fail 1,000 times. The lightbulb was an invention with 1,000 steps.â If you can think the way Edison did, youâll have a lot more fun learning your target language by tracking your progress along the way!5 Ways Your Funny Language Mistakes Can Help You Learn1. Reveal (and Overcome) Your Common Mistakes by TextingTexting your foreign friends in the language you want to learn certainly wonât make you a genius overnight, but itll help you identify your common mistakes and bad linguistic habits. The first step is to ask you r friends to correct you during your text conversations, if theyre not already doing so. This can be a lot less overwhelming or frustrating than getting interrupted with corrections in the middle of an in-person conversation. Plus, if youre using language exchange apps like Tandem or HelloTalk, there are super-simple correction features already built in.Its not all about spelling and grammar, either! Using text-to-speech features in your mobile keyboard to speak the language youâre learning will also help to improve your pronunciation of new words. (Just hit the microphone icon in the message box on an iPhone, or follow these steps for an Android.)Again, your friends can help with corrections, but youll also simply identify poorly-pronounced words if the phone cant understand what youre saying.Texting is something most of us do every day, so why not text your foreign friends, have fun with your mistakes and learn a new language all at the same time?2. Pay Attention to Spell CheckS pell check is especially useful if you want to go to school in your target language or pursue writing or teaching careersâ"and laughing at your writing mistakes as spell check autocorrects them will help you have a little fun while you work.Since Microsoft Word can correct spelling in many different languages, itâs a great way to catch funny mistakes and learn from them along the way.If youre an English learner (or if youre a native speaker who might as well brush up on your writing skills), you could also check out Grammarly. Its a powerful spell- and grammar-checking toolâ"and best of all, it provides thorough explanations of your mistakes so you know how to correct them next time.Of course, remember that spell checkers arent always perfect, so you can always double-check any points of confusion with a dictionary or a native speaker.3. Use Language Tools with SRS and Progress TrackersWhile its important to see the humor in language mistakes, its true that once enough of them pile up, it can be hard to find the motivation to keep learning. Thats why its important to see the big picture beyond your mistakes. Language apps with Spaced Repetition Software (SRS) technology and progress tracking features are the best way to accomplish this.Consider how FluentU works. This innovative app provides real-world foreign language videos, like movie trailers, music videos, YouTube clips and more, with interactive captions and exercises to help you pick up new words. You can then master the words you struggled with in a way that maximizes retention, thanks to FluentUs SRS algorithm, which ensures that youre reviewing words at the optimal pace. That means every time you make a mistake, theres less of a chance youll make it again the next time.Plus, FluentUs progress trackers will help you keep track of what youve learned and what youve accomplished. So even if it feels like youve been making a ton of mistakes, youre likely to see that there are areas where youre growin g. FluentU will also suggest new content based on what youve already watched, so it always keeps you moving forward. With FluentU, you learn real languagesâ"the same way that real people speak them. FluentU has a wide variety of videos, like movie trailers, funny commercials and web series, as you can see here:FluentU App Browse ScreenFluentU has interactive captions that let you tap on any word to see an image, definition, audio and useful examples. Now native language content is within reach with interactive transcripts.Didnt catch something? Go back and listen again. Missed a word? Hover over or tap on the subtitles to instantly view definitions.FluentU Interactive TranscriptsYou can learn all the vocabulary in any video with FluentUs quiz mode. Swipe left or right to see more examples for the word youâre learning.FluentU Has Quizzes for Every VideoAnd FluentU always keeps track of vocabulary that youâre learning. It uses that vocab to give you a 100% personalized experience by recommending videos and examples.4. Translate Figures of Speech into the Language Youâre LearningIf you really want to have fun learning a new language, make mistakes on purpose by translating English figures of speech into the language youâre learning. Since idioms and expressions rarely translate properly into another language, youâll have people laughing in no time! This is also a great way to lighten the mood and even make some new friends. One cool thing about doing this is that, after you translate your figure of speech and explain what its supposed to mean, ask the people who speak your target language how the figure of speech would be phrased in their language. You can take notes on this and learn figures of speech in their language.5. Laugh at Your Own Mistakes to Learn FasterWhen you donât take yourself too seriously, youâll make a lot of friends wholl be willing to help you learn your target language faster. Believe it or not, even people you donât know are more inclined to help you if youâre fun and teachable.Another benefit of laughing at your mistakes is that itll release dopamine into your brain, and thatll enhance your memory to help you learn the language faster. When youâre in a good mood, youâll actually be able to remember what youâve learned much easier!Learning a language by making funny mistakes is one of the most natural ways to learn a new language. While itâs not often something that happens on purpose, learning from your embarrassing mistakes is exactly what you need to help you get fluent.Ernesto is an author, blogger and freelancer writer, and hes?passionate about helping refugees and the poor. Funny Chemistry Tees: What You Should Know About These
Funny Chemistry Tees: What You Should Know About TheseHumorous shirts for ladies are sometimes made out of materials that make them fashionable, but not necessarily be in your favor. While you may think that they are trendy, most of the materials used in the manufacturing of these shirts are materials that simply take the shirts from being fashionable to just plain embarrassing. This is why it is crucial to purchase a shirt that is properly made out of materials that can stand up to the test of time and continue to be fashionable even after many years.Funny Chemistry designs are generally made out of polyester, which is a great material for shirts. Polyester is available in a wide variety of materials, from nylon to acetate, and is one of the least expensive materials you can find in the market. The other materials, like polypropylene, can be much more expensive, as they require more processing to turn them into clothes that you will wear everyday.Polyester offers some advantages ove r other types of fabrics. Firstly, because of its resilience and flexibility, polyester is very suitable for use in shirts. Secondly, polyester is also very durable, which means that the material can last long despite the fact that you wear it everyday. Furthermore, polyester has excellent breathability, making it an ideal material for shirts. The downside of polyester is that it cannot be machine washed or dried, which makes it less practical than other fabrics. For instance, a designer's shirt that uses an organic material such as polyester may have more durability, but may cost a lot more than other shirts. However, there are special washable fabrics that can help you get a shirt that is both durable and highly fashionable at the same time.Another disadvantage of polyester is that it tends to be prone to warping. You can expect this to happen to polyester shirts. However, you can prevent this from happening by keeping your shirts in airtight containers or keeping them dry, as it i s more likely to develop warping when the material is exposed to moisture.A lot of women prefer to wear cotton, even though cotton is more durable than polyester. However, cotton is more delicate and needs to be ironed to make it retain its shape. Some people prefer cotton shirts, but this is primarily because of their tendency to fade more easily.Keep in mind that not all shirts made with funny chemistry materials are going to be weak in quality. However, the material is not particularly well-liked by most women, so if you do want to wear one, you might have to compromise on the design and the material to make it fashionable.

From there, the other steps in the analysis procedure would follow. These steps are usual ly chemical and physical.Chemical properties can be determined. The presence of certain substances in samples is detected and then the chemical formula of the substance is calculated based on its content. The other steps include the determination of the quantity of the compound present in the sample and its interaction with the other compounds present in the sample.Analytical chemistry is one of the major activities performed in a laboratory. These laboratory procedures to assist in the development of new drugs as well as medicines. As well as being useful for pharmaceuticals, these laboratory procedures also aid in the development of new and innovative methods of analysis for identifying the various analytes present in samples.Analytical equipment is also used in testing an organism or a product. Important tips for AP exam week, like getting sufficient rest, taking breaks, and staying organized should be taken into consideration, as they can help you manage any stress you may be feeling. Here are the top tips for AP exam week to help you feel prepared: AP Exam Week Tip #1: Get enough rest Sufficient sleep is the foundation of strong performance on your AP exams. Thats because your brain works best when its well rested. It processes information faster and allows you to more easily and accurately recall memories (i.e. past lessons from class). AP exam week is an especially challenging time to get a healthy amount of sleep, as you may feel tempted to do nothing but study each night before your exams. You may also have nerves getting to you, and that can interfere with your ability to fall and stay asleep. Instead of studying late into the night every night, consider just doing a quick review of the next days exam topic for no more than an hour. Go to sleep early so you have time to relax in bed and fall asleep with more ease. If you have more than one exam scheduled on the same day, its important to take a break between them to clear your mind and recharge. This means you shouldnt try to cram any additional, intensive studying between your exams: pushing straight through like that may increase your stress levels and leave you more likely to make mistakes on your next exam. Consider the following ways to take a break and arrive at your next exam refreshed and less stressed: Go for a walk or sit outside to get some fresh air Eat a healthy snack Listen to music or read a book not related to your APs AP Exam Week Tip #3: Stay organized Staying organized can greatly reduce your stress during a busy AP exam week. Make sure to familiarize yourself with your AP exam schedule, test duration, and test materials needed (i.e. calculator, ID, pencils, etc.). You may also benefit from setting alarms on your phone to alert you of when its time to go to your next exam (just make sure they dont go off while youre taking your actual tests!). AP Exam Week Tip #4: Give yourself some you time every day Dont over-schedule too many extracurricular activities during AP exam week if you can help it; doing so is a quick way to increase your anxiety levels. It can be helpful to keep your schedule free outside exams so you can unwind at some point each day, which will help refresh you and ensure youre ready for the following day. Some good activities to help you relax include light exercise, light reading, drawing, cooking, or even simply watching movies. As previously mentioned, avoid over-studying and putting extra pressure on yourself. Youve put in a full school year of preparation for this week. Have confidence in yourself and face those exams accordingly! Any topics you want to know more about? Let us know! The Varsity Tutors Blog editors love hearing your feedback and opinions. What to Know About Summer Business School Programs A summer business program can provide students with a miniature version of business school, condensed for a short period instead of one, two, or three years. Its like an MBA in a box. These programs, which range from one week to four months, can occur in-person or online and offer a crash course on what to expect from a full-time MBA program. Should you sign up for the experience? Before you submit your application, here are a few questions and answers to help you learn more about summer business school programs. Who are these programs for? Summer business school programs are targeted at college students and recent college graduates. They provide a collaborative environment for project-based learning so that students can increase their understanding of business and explore careers in management. These programs are often held at top universities with elite business schools, such as the Tuck Business Bridge Program at Dartmouth, the Stern Advantage Program at NYU, and Business Edge at Columbia. The hands-on experience and connections available through these programs assist students who want to stand out to potential employers. Specifically, non-business majors, underrepresented students, and students who have not been exposed to the business world are often encouraged to participate in these programs. For example, the one-week Harvard Business School Summer Venture in Management welcomes applications from students who are the first in their family to attend college, or who come from communities that are underrepresented in business schools and corporate America. Similarly, the two-week Yale SOM Global Pre-MBA Leadership Program emphasizes exposure to global diversity and learning from students around the world, including those from cultural backgrounds underrepresented in graduate management programs. However, depending on the program, students who simply want broaden their intellectual perspective on business are often eligible to apply. What areas do these programs cover? Most summer business school programs cover business basics, including accounting, finance, communications, and marketing, as well as leadership and challenges in management. (Youll learn a great deal about these topics, but some students might feel theyd benefit from some online tutoring in one or more of them beforehand to better prepare.) Students in these programs often have the opportunity to make presentations for local businesses and to take field trips to their corporate campuses. For instance, in the Accelerator Summer Institute at Vanderbilt, students spend the four-week program immersed in a consulting project for a real company. They take the skills they learn in Vanderbilt classeslike Operations, Strategy, and Economicsand apply them to solutions for the project. These programs can help build your dexterity in the workplace. Why should I attend a summer business program? Primarily, a summer business program can enhance your marketability when applying for positions in the corporate world. The networking opportunities with peers, professors, and corporate recruiters, as well as career advice from counselors and alumni, can help you become more competitive in the job market. Additionally, at certain programs, you can use your summer to earn college credit. The Summer Business Institute at Emory carries six academic credit hours, the Summer Management Program at Wake Forest offers eight hours of course credit, and the BASE Summer Program at the Haas School of Business offers up to nine upper-division semester units from UC Berkeley. A summer business school program is not a substitute for a masters degree in management, but it can give you a glimpse into MBA life and the many options available to you. It will also provide a better idea of the structure of business. You can add professional skills to your resume, broaden your knowledge of how organizations operate, and boost your career possibilities. With a foundation of business fundamentals, you can use a summer business school program as a springboard to a wider variety of opportunities in the corporate world.
